I was watching a series of Final Fantasy Dissidia character encounter lines, particularly those of Cloud of Darkness and Ultimecia, and I suddenly wondered about Fidelia in a Dissidia-like game - melee battles, character realm mish-mash. Suddenly it also branched into alternate character costumes that you can unlock by beating various challenges in the game, so I drew a design of Fidelia that you could unlock should she be in this hypothetical video game. It turned into something rather interesting, and has also spawned into a story idea that I may or may not go through with. I'll add more details later, but it's going to have a few characters... :meow:

On the design, I built on her transitional half-dragon/half-human form by making her almost a complete hybrid. My 4am brain thought of it like the birthing of a butterfly from its cocoon, its both beautiful and grotesque and... yeah tangent got lost somewhere. The 'thumb' of her wings are still embedded in her body; or are supposed to be - but she is still able to maintain some kind of flight - if not glide, or do cool anime-mid-air-slides and such.

Oooh this is so cool! ^^ I really like the wings and all the scales and colors on her body.
